The day we went to see old Cristo, the whole area was covered in such thick mist that you couldn’t even see his feet if you were standing right at the base of the statue. Then suddenly, it all cleared and the sun shone through the clouds and all the pilgrims that had been waiting at the top of the hill for a couple of hours cheered, and started posing as Jesus for photos, and everyone was happy. Amen.
